What Katelyn has been up to lately..

Katelyn is such a fun and funny little girl. She does the silliest little things and is quite smart.

The other day I did laundry and I let her play in the basket after I had put all the clothes away. A few minutes later she had flipped it upside down and would carry it across the living room to her desired destination. First she took it to the light switch and climbed up and got a kick out of finally being able to reach the switch and turn the lights on and off. Then she carried it to the kitchen counter and grabbed Nick's stash of candy.. her face was so funny when I asked her what she had. She smiled, hugged the bag, and replied "andy andy!" (candy, candy)

I had to give her some after that :)

Basically all day yesterday it was her and the laundry basket going to wherever and finding new and exciting things you can do with being a foot and a half taller.

We've also introduced potty training. She's uh.. still learning. I'm taking it slow, but I just hope she'll take the next few months and become a pro by the time baby #2 comes. She's made it in once. Out of about a dozen accidents. :) We'll get there.

 Oh and there she is with her towel and headband on her head. There's just something about her and putting things on her head :) oh well doesn't bother us!

And one more thing I thought was really cute that she does is read. She'll often grab our ensign and sit on the couch and flip through it. Or she'll grab her books and just read them. The newspaper. She just likes to pretend she's reading or point out pictures and tell me what it is.

Here she is the other day. She climbed up on our bed, got cozy, and just read her book.

Nick was able to go to the BYU vs. Ole Miss game with some dental school friends. He had a lot of fun and BYU WON! It was a pretty good game, I actually watched majority of it on t.v. which is surprising if you know me. I think it was because I was trying to find Nick on t.v. :) but I'm glad I watched them win!
