Crafts

The other day I went to our Relief Society craft day. It was a lot of fun and I made some very cute Halloween decorations (and for super cheap might I add). I love when others can get you good deals and even provide all the necessary material, so why not jump at the opportunity?

First I made these tile coasters. I love coasters for some reason, and I thought these ones were so cute! I loved the design and how they did it. We stamped on the design with a special type of ink-- I forgot what it is called, I'm so bad at remembering things that I forgot what every thing is called, sorry! I'll just blame it on the pregnancy-- anyways, then we went over it with some sticky stuff (again forgot what it is called). Then we just stamped letters on this cream colored paper, tore the edges and lay it on the coasters and went over it again with the sticky stuff! It was sooo easy. And here is the final result:

Then I made some Halloween countdown blocks. I love these countdown blocks and I've always wanted some. Especially some for Christmas too which the RS is going to be making soon as well, so I'm really excited!

For this we just painted all of the blocks. They had cute craft paper cut out and we just mod podged it on. I sanded down the edges and smudged on a little shoe polish to give it more of a worn out look. Then we put the vinyl numbers on and mod podge over that and were done! Very easy, you can do it yourself.
and there are my crafts together.. I know the tiles aren't really that halloween-ish, but they're still cute!
And now my Halloween table is all set up! I love Halloween.

One other craft I finished was my pillow. I started it awhile ago and then redid some of it because I didn't like the seam and the zipper, so I'm now just finishing it again. And I added a little flower on it too. I think I really like it. We'll see how long it lasts with Katelyn around :)

I think the sticky stuff you used was probably Modge Podge. Very Cute!

Oh no, it wasnt modge podge. Thats the one thing I do remember haha, because she specifically told us not to use the modge podge cause it wouldnt work. For the blocks, yes use modge podge. I wish I could remember the other stuff we used.
