Finally... school is over

- These are pictures of our Trip to Zions Park!-

- Our Wedding Album, which looks absolutely gorgeous! -

I am never going back to campus again!! Until Fall semester starts. Ok.. well, maybe I'll go there a couple of times to meet Nick for lunch or something, but that's it. My finals went pretty swell though, I got a 97% on my first one and pretty sure I got like a 110% on my second one. ha.. that was a joke.

Nick is at work again. I start my work on Monday, I am excited.
So.. today we get to go camping!! Nick has planned this wonderful trip for us and I am so excited. I can't wait to get out of here.

Last night I came home from Raquel's bridal shower and I walked in and there was this huge tent in the middle of our living room with a little lantern on inside of it! Nick had set it up and it was fun to go inside with him! It was so cool. He even bought me a brand new sleeping bag! :D I am excited to try it out.

A little update on mine & Nick's lives..

Tomorrow is the last day of finals! Yay :) I have to take 2 finals tomorrow and after that I will be so happy that classes will be done. I can't wait for the summertime, I LOVE the summer!

Well, an update with our lives.. Nick is working with BYU right now and I will start work on Monday after all my school is done.

We are just working, and relaxing at home for the summer. Hopefully we can take a vacation sometime this summer to Colorado or somewhere else. Nick's great grandma is having an early birthday/family reunion party in two weeks. We will be going to that and his family will all be coming out to Utah. It will be fun.

Nothing much is new. We are just doing great and having fun. So if anything exciting happens we will let you know! :)

"That's not Sister Jensen"

Well, today in primary Nick and I had such a wonderful time, and every Sunday our kids remind us how special they are to us.

Anyways, recently we had a new primary teacher called to teach one of the Junior Primary classes. Today our primary president said, "Sister Jensen will you come up and hold this for me?" One of the little kids in our class looked at me and smiled. Then he realized I wasn't moving and told me, "Sister Jensen, they called you up, you have to go." He looked up at the front and the new primary teacher had gone up to help our primary president. I looked at him and said, "Oh, no.. It's ok Ethan, she was talking to the other lady, her name is Sister Jensen too." He replied back, "No, she's not.. you are." Then he looked up at our primary president and loudly said, "Hey, that's not sister Jensen!" (I don't think she heard, but Nick sure had a good laugh).

So, after Ethan realized the lady was not going to sit down he looked back at me and again said, "You are Sister Jensen." I replied back, "Oh, so am I the only one who can be Sister Jensen?" He smiled and nodded his head Yes.

That's how wonderful our Primary kids are! :)

Dana vs. the BLOG

I am so proud of Dana. She has been working so hard on this blog thing to make it cute or whatever. She started learning html and adding/changing codes to change the layout. It doesn't look like it has changed much, but she has put in a lot of work (or wasted a lot of time...hahahaa). Well I hope y'all like it. I guess I do. I'm not much of a pink fan, but Dana likes it soooo... "A happy wife means a happy life!"

I defeated the difficulty of our blog!

I finally did it! So for the longest time, we couldn't figure out how to get our names up at the top without the picture covering it or having to space and put little stars all over the place so our name would move to the middle of the picture and you could actually see it. Well, as smart as I am, I figured it out!

I am so proud of myself, and I know Nick will be proud of me too. However he won't be proud that it's 8:31 a.m. and I'm just about to run out the door to make it to my 9:00 o'clock class in time! :)

Bye!!

Dana skiing for the first time

los locos! andale

I was just looking through old pictures and found this. Cancun, 01/2007

May 4, 2007, about 5 pm

This post, and others to soon follow, will kinda review what we've been up to over the last year. We wish we had started this a long time ago, but oh well. 13 months ago we got engaged in Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was a pretty sweet day. My brother Daniel and his wife, Julie (girlfriend at the time), flew out to Colorado with Dana and I to visit our family and see Syd in one of her dance performances. Daniel and I both had planned on proposing that week, but weren't sure how to do it. Each girl, Dana and Julie, knew that the other was going to be proposed to that week but had no idea they'd end up engaged as well. To keep the story short, I'll just cut right to it. The four of us went on a hike at Garden of the Gods. A few minutes into the hike, I told Dana that we should go ahead of the other two and let Daniel pop the question. Daniel whispered to Julie that they should slow down and let us go ahead so I could do the same. The moment had come. Once we got to a nice overlook point, we sat and talked and took some pictures for a few minutes. Then, when we were about to head back down, I started telling Dana how much I loved her and appreciated her. I did the whole "get on one knee" deal and and asked, "Dana Marie, will you marry me?" oh golly. She said no. Haha, she said yes. It was pretty cool. I whipped out the ring and slipped it on her finger. Success!!
So we were engaged! When we finished our little hike, we met up with Daniel and Julie and now all four of us were engaged. It was a pretty cool day. There are a bunch of details that I left out. I remember it like it was yesterday (so does Dana), so if for some odd reason you need to know "the rest of the story," tell me and I'll have Dana tell it.

(I just wanted to add this pic, cuz the nike robot man freaked us out. This was taken a couple of days later in Denver)
