I got back in the groove of sewing after going to the fabric store. Sadly after a few projects my sewing machine isn't working! :( If anyone knows how to fix this problem will you please tell me!! My bobbin thread seems to bunch up underneath when I sew. It gets all tangled and then it just won't let the needle go down. I don't know what to do I tried everything. Have you had that experience?
Anyways, here are a few of my projects. I finished Katelyn's high chair cover. Super easy, and cute.
I had left over fabric from her chair so I made a pillow cover.. I think it's kind of funny to have a matching pillow with her high chair.. ha, but I guess it's ok.
I'm trying to finish another cover, but again my sewing machine broke! help.
And last... I bought this fabric for Katelyn's room. It's going to hang over her window. Still not sure how I'm going to tie the pink ribbon in the middle. My bow tying needs some serious help, so for now it's just a knot. I have more, but for now I'll just show you this. Zebra is the theme with hot pink accents! I can't wait to get it all done. Hobby Lobby has sooo many cute things.

Maybe go pick out a curtain rod at the store, if you don't have one, and that'll let you decide how to sew the curtain. And then there are probably hooks you put on the wall to attach the pink ribbon to so it pulls the curtain back when it's tied around it.
Cute high chair cover!! Ask mom about the sewing machine. She can ask in her sewing class or one of her sewing buddies probably :)
Hope you don't mind me reading your blog, I believe we went to the same high school. Anyways... I've had the same problem with my sewing machine. The way I got mine to work was taking out the bobbin, and then taking out the metal piece where the bobbin sits in. (check your sewing machines manual to know how to take it out correctly.) There was usually thread stuck back there that was causing the machine to stop. Although it could be something else. I hope this helps.
Very cute Dana. I'm impressed. I love sewing, but I haven't done much of it since I seem to have no time, except on the weekends, and generally other things get int he way.
I wish I knew how to fix the machine. I'm sure there's a sewing machine repair place nearby you could take it too. That's all I got. :)
