LUNCH DATE!!

I decided on Monday I wanted to take Katelyn out. The weather had been so nice so we got so used to going outside and being out of the house. I stepped outside Monday morning and it was freezing :( So I said, "Katelyn let's go on a date" Since I had to run to the fabric store to get some things I decided I would make it fun for her too and we could have a nice little day together. So we went to...

 

I know..... don't judge me! But I couldn't think of anywhere else to go that she could play inside, eat lunch and have fun. She got her chicken nuggets (which she loves), drank her milk (that at least is good right?), and she even got a free barbie toy! I never thought I'd be the mom to take my kid to McDonald's. It's her first time though and we had fun! She could chunk up a bit too anyway ;) hah. After she got to go play with the kids in the play area. She was laughing and screaming. She thought it was so funny seeing the big kids run around and go through the jungle gym thing. I loved seeing her happy. She was upset when we had to leave.

So.. for dessert I got her a chocolate chip cookie. I didn't give it to her before we left McDonalds. I was going to give it to her after the fabric stores in case she got cranky and couldn't handle anymore. So on the way home she was a little tired and mad so I broke off a piece and gave it to her. When I got home I had forgotten about the little piece I gave her until I saw her face. She had chocolate all over her mouth. Haha, I don't know what she did to that piece of cookie, but she must have enjoyed it!

 She tried hiding her face, she probably knew I was taking a picture of her silliness.

And here is a picture of the little barbie toy she got. I think the day was very fun! We both had a good time (at least I think I can say that for Katelyn). 

And what I got at Hobby Lobby was awesome... I am currently in the process of doing some things to Katelyn's room. There will be a sneak peek in the next post :)
