SO... my dear sissy is having a baby. And yesterday (her birthday.. how awesome is this..) she had her ultrasound to find out the gender. She is having a baby GIRL!!!! I am so excited. I have imagined this day... Ok not the exact day, but the future, when our little girls will be able to play together and be best friends.
It's so cute because I always remember the stories my mom used to tell about my sister as a baby. How she had cute chunky cheeks. She always wanted "more cheeeeese please" haha. Her dark brown full head of hair. And now.. I just imagine her baby this way. A cute little LU LU.
Can't you see this being Katelyn (right) and Lu junior (left)? I totally can. Best friends. (that's me and LU when we were younger in case you don't catch that.)
I'm so excited for the baby to come. It is the first baby out of my siblings so you can probably imagine how happy I am to spoil the little gal.
I mean I already made her three headband and three flower clips. And I still want to make her more things. Katelyn has a billion headbands so I stopped making hers awhile ago, but now that I have another little girl to spoil she will have to deal with all my gifts :) Sorry Lu and Matt!
So congrats to my sister and bro-in law!
Another thing. I have been working on some sewing projects lately. High chair cover. Door curtain. Don't judge me.. I still am trying to finish those chair covers that I posted about a LONG time ago. And I have a couple more projects I want to do. The high chair cover is turning out super cute and if any moms want to spice up their high chair I'd go for it! It's really easy. Follow this tutorial:

you're going to laugh when I post the pic of my final product. Mine looks exactly like hers with the same print and everything, but just different colors. I had no idea. I just went to the store picked out two cute fabrics and came back and noticed they were almost the EXACT same patterns as hers!
Another thing I've been wanting to do (again don't judge me cause I know it's been over a year) is decorate Katelyn's room. I always thought I would be big on this, but as I was pregnant and thinking about it I couldn't help but think how I'd have to change it all if we had a boy next. As time goes on though I figure I might as well just do it and give it all I got. Why not be happy for at least some time and be proud that I made my daughters room look cute?
Well, goodnight I'm going to bed. There is supposed to be a snow storm tonight/tomorrow! Looking forward to no school for Nick again :) hee hee..

Hahaha! You're silly. I don't like that picture :) oh, and Matt says it's just fine for you to send the baby stuff. Haha, but don't go spending lots of money on that. Love you! You need to teach me all that crafty stuff!
i love that picture LU! hahah your face is priceless
Nice! Those high chair covers seem too complicated for me...maybe one day I won't be intimidated by sewing projects. Cute headbands/clips!
