Thanksgiving

There are so many things that I am thankful for and I really don't even know where to start. I'll begin with my top five, which are probably the most basic for most of you, but they really are the best things in my life.

1. My husband
2. Our little girl
3. Family
4. The Gospel
5. Our home

Don't mind the cropping job I had to do on both family pictures... :) I'm not that talented in that area..and I now figured out that we need more family pictures on both sides of everyone!

Anyways, this Thanksgiving was wonderful, as always. We didn't really know what are plans were going to be for Thanksgiving up until a few days before the break. We ended up deciding to drive out to Colorado to surprise Nick's family for Thanksgiving. It worked :) I'm really glad we were able to get out one last time before our little girl comes and enjoy some time off together with family.

The dinner was delicious..

Nicholas and Sydney had a lot of fun together, as always, and were constantly keeping us entertained... you should have seen their "parkouring" skills. You can get a brief idea of what it is from this video...the office parkour
hahahaha I think it's hilarious.
.

We took a walk nearby and had fun skipping ice... on ice... Nick was risky enough to actually jump over the ledge onto a little rock and break ice off so that we could entertain ourselves by throwing it on the frozen water and hearing it break.. ha.

On our ten hour drive to Colorado (yes, I made it with two bathroom breaks on the way there, and ONLY ONE on the way back home :).. ) Anyways, on the long stretch through Kansas there are probably about 500+ windmills stretched out along the highway. I tried counting them, but only got to 130ish. There were so many all in one spot and they just kept going and going.

We also passed through PARK CITY!... Park City, Kansas that is..

If you can't read that.. the water tower says Park City on it.

Unfortunately, like many of you might know, you forget to take pictures when you are having so much fun. So those are most of what we have.

It was great to get out though and the weather in Colorado was AMAZING.

This next month we will be at home for Christmas, just me, nick, and our little girl. I can't wait until my family comes out right after, and following their visit Nick's parents and Sydney will come out. It should be great :) 28 more days people!
