It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Nicholas and I put our Christmas tree up awhile ago and I love it :) I can't believe this will be our third Christmas together. Last night we were trying to remember each one and what we did for them. This one will sure be one to remember, however.
.

We will be staying here in Oklahoma for Christmas. Then soon after that.. in fact, four days after Christmas day we will be heading to the hospital (that is, if she hasn't come by then already). I can't believe Christmas is coming so fast as well as our due date. I'm so excited! Each day I've been getting more and more anxious. These last couple of weeks may be hard for me to wait, but Nick has the whole week off next week and we will enjoy spending our time together. He keeps me busy and entertained that's for sure :)

I'm am 38 weeks today. Exactly 2 weeks away from my due date. I can't believe it. I get to see my family in 12 days! Then we get to see Nick's parents and little sister in 16 days! I'm very excited for them to come and to see our little girl.

38 weeks with our Christmas tree :)

I'm feeling pretty good right now. Other than a few recent aches and pains. I tried going on a REALLY long walk yesterday. I would say it was pretty decent. I do have to say, however, that I very much dislike dogs. Especially dogs in back yards that run up to the fence and bark at you. I just wanted a nice peaceful walk and there were like 10 dogs barking at me on each side of the pond. So I had to change my course to a much shorter route by the park and walk around that about 30 times instead of being able to walk around the large pond area close by. Oh well. Just for future though ;) If you have a dog.. save the pregnant lady from being extremely upset and don't put them outside next to a park area where they run and bark at people all day.

The lovely pond I wanted to walk around (see the houses on both sides? They all have dogs.)

Next week I have my last doctors appointment. I finally get to take Nick again with me because he will have school off :) I like it when he can come and we always go out to lunch after.. that's the best part! Ha. This appointment will also be the first time I find out how I'm progressing. I really hope the doctor has good news. Up until now he hasn't checked my progression at all, apparently he just doesn't do that for some reason, so I have no idea how my progression is as of right now.

We have a place for baby to sleep.. at least for the first few weeks :) We got a pack n play! And.. it has monkeys all over it! (My favorite) Nick chose it and he loves it too! We even have her some little stuffed animal monkeys that we had previously.. yes I brought them with me after we got married. Ha

We also got our stroller/carseat! If you can't tell, getting all of these things just makes me so excited. We both love this travel system, and I absolutely love having the base in my car (we put it in a couple weeks ago) sometimes we'll put the carseat in too just for the fun of it. It's so exciting :)

Well, just 2 more weeks before we get to see this adorable little girl:

If she comes before then.. then, we will try our best to keep you posted :) Chau for now.

Ha ha ha. Maybe the dogs just want to get to know you and Baby J. And that's the only way they can get your attention. :)
