Update

BABY INFO:

Well, next week is 38 weeks for us. The weeks are winding down so fast. Each day I think about my baby and lately I've been wanting her to come more and more. I think it's because now I know she is full term and actually could come anytime. Watch though, with all my wishing she will just wait it out until the 29th. :) That's alright.


Here is what I've been reading lately from the daily/weekly pregnancy e-mails I get:

"Only three more weeks to go (can you believe it?). Actually, now that you're 37 weeks pregnant, your pregnancy is technically considered full-term — which means you can safely go into labor any day now."

I can't believe we've come this far. Not to say that I will go into labor anytime soon, but just knowing that my baby is now considered full term and can come anytime is such an exciting and reassuring feeling.

It is also somewhat nerve racking knowing that I can go into labor anytime in the next three weeks, but I'm shooting for about a week before my due date.. that would be nice :) If not, we will go into the hospital to be induced on December 29th.

BABY SHOWER: 

I had my baby shower last week. It was wonderful! There are so many sweet girls out here who have been so nice to me and become good friends. I'm really thankful for them.

I don't have a recent photo of our baby girl (or my belly you might say), but I will try to get one. Nick and I still need to take our Christmas picture by the tree (yes, we got it up and I LOVE IT!) so I will put that up later and get a good shot of how big our girl has grown :)

CHRISTMAS INFO: 

I love Christmas time so much. I really, really do. We haven't done any Christmas shopping, but we need to. We mostly just need to get family gifts and the rest of the things for the baby. Christmas will of course be special, but won't be too big because it will just be Nick and I here in our home and we aren't thinking about doing gifts. He did get me a nice gift though already which I looove :) My glider for the baby room. So I guess I will have to sneak some shopping in sometime to get him something ;)

SCHOOL:

Nick has had finals everyday this week continuing on into next week until Friday. I really feel bad for him, he studies so hard. I am proud of him though and I'm so grateful I have a husband who is such a hard worker. He is done with his second semester though next Friday! So tell him good job if you see him.. or talk to him.. since we don't see most of you! Poor kid will get done with finals just in time to have a little girl to take care of. That's alright though. You should see how excited he is for her to come. I can already see how happy he'll be and how much he loves her and wants her to be here. He will do so great with her and I won't be surprised if all she wants is her daddy.

Well, that's a little bit about what's going on in our lives right now, just school for nick, work for me (still just doing substituting), waiting anxiously for our little girl, and trying to get ready for Christmas!
