So, this post won't let me put a title I don't know why, but I guess I just won't have a title.. I couldn't really think of a good one anyways.
Well... I must say I am very proud of myself. I've been saving up coupons for a few weeks now and every Sunday night Nicholas and I like to sit down and look through the huge stack of coupons we get from the newspaper. I bet he never thought I would use them, ha.
Today though, for the FIRST time EVER in my whole grocery shopping history, I used some of my coupons! :) I went through the self check out because 1) I felt a little embarrased- I don't know why and 2) I always think the worst of things like... "what if they don't accept them?" "or what if the coupons don't work or I got the wrong item?" then the lady might look at me weird. So instead of going to a cashier I just went to the self check out. I scanned all my items then I pushed that little do you have any coupons button, and I scanned my coupons and put them in the little dispenser thing... and they worked!
I saved a whopping total of $1.55. Ok, so it wasn't that much, but still! It saves and imagine saving something every time. So there is my little self congratulation to myself for saving my coupons, using them, and saving some (even if not a lot) of money. :)
Oh and while looking through coupons I saw a great ad for the perfect little Christmas present for a family member so I went to ULTA and saved some money there too and got a cute little gift!

Haha, that's funny. I understand why you don't want to go to the cashier with coupons, cause if it is wrong and doesn't qualify or something like that, then you have to ask about it and hold up the line. Or something similar to that :) I like using coupons, if I find a good deal. But sometimes I feel cheap or like I'm taking advangtage of them, haha.
