SEND ME SOME COOL WEATHER!!

I wish my sister could send over some cool weather. I actually think I'm about ready for fall. Summer has been nice. However when it's too hot to take your kiddo outside.. the inside days drag on a little too much.

Running Update:

The whole running thing is going alright, but it's just still too hot for me outside! After I posted I went every day. I'ved slowed down a bit. I think I got bored with it.. which isnt very good considering it hasn't been that long. I at least have been taking quick runs/walks to the park every day with Katelyn. She LOVES the park. She'll even do this little cry when I put her back in the stroller when it's time to leave. She loves holding our hand now to walk around different places.

I ran around in my house for a little because I hate going places alone. Is that weird? Running in your home just doesn't feel the same as running outside though. I have been going to the park, but when I come home I'm sweating it's so hot outside. I'll admit it has got a bit cooler lately, but it's still so humid and muggy I hate going outside.

Guess I'll have to keep trying to look for a treadmill or something.

Good Feeling:

I guess the moms who have had babies will know. Doesn't it feel great to buy your first pair of jeans after having a baby!?

The other day I bought my first jeans since I had Katelyn! Actually... since even before Nick and I got married. So it had been awhile. I forgot what it was like to go jean shopping (except for the one pair of maternity jeans i bought, but i didn't care to find cute ones I just needed something that fit). I had to try on so many, try on different washes to see which one I liked best, and now they have so many styles, including the skinny jeans which I HAD to try on to see what they were all about. Yeah.. they didn't really work for me. They may look cute with some pumps or something but I just feel like they make the thighs and bottom area look so big with these skinny little ankles! Anyone else in my same boat??  I'm sure some of you girls look fabulous in them (don't get me wrong I'm not dissing them or anything, I think they are WAY cute just not on me ;).. ) Also happy to say that surprisingly I have not gone UP a jean size.. but DOWN a jean size.


Approaching: The HOLIDAYS!!

I'm really getting excited for the holidays. Once Halloween hits it just all takes off from there!! And I'm early excited because my little bro is coming BEFORE halloween gets here so that is like an extra holiday for me to look forward to! :) And this year I get to dress up a cute little kiddo in a Halloween costume :) how fun is that?

I love fall. I love the decorations. I got an email from Pier 1 today.

I'm dying, I want to go buy some fall decorations, but maybe I can make some inexpensive ones.. anyone got any good ideas?

Family Pictures:

Last thing, we took some family pics. Just in a JC Penny studio. I know some of you might think LAME, but I really wanted some and at this certain moment we can't afford a photographer who does fancy ones outside and all that :) they turned out alright though! Some of them look like we are taking school pictures.. but that's ok we don't have to post those ;) And get this, the sitting fee was free, a free 8x10, and then we got 2 more 8X10's a 10x13 and 2 5X7's all for 12 bucks. So 6 pics total.. not too bad. And now I have some family pictures to put up :) here's a couple hopefully i'll get more soon!
