Katelyn's not the only baby in the family..

How can you make a little face like that cry? :(

Ok, I know they have to give my baby shots, but I never knew it would be so hard for me to watch. Geesh i'm about to cry just writing about it.

Anyways, I'm sensitive. I'm a baby. And I cried a little today when they gave Katelyn her shots at her 2 month appointment. But how can you not?

She was so happy. She was laughing and smiling with the doctor. The doctor was listening to all her stories she had to tell (that's what the doctor said she was doing- telling stories haha) and then... the nurse came in. Held her legs down while Nicholas and I held her little hands. And.. they poked her. Three times. :( She screamed, but not for long. She's a fighter. Nicholas cuddled her and told her to be strong and she stopped crying.. it was adorable. I still feel bad for her. She's been a bit more fussy after the appointment and I think it might be because her little legs hurt.

I love my little girl so much and I just hate seeing it happen.

Anyways, on the bright side... she's gained exactly 3 pounds since her one week visit! She now weighs 10 lbs 1 oz.! Good little girl. And she's around the 50th percentile for all of her measurements- head, height, and weight. I think her weight is a little under 50, her head a little above.. I can't remember. I would go get the sheet, but she is sleeping in my arm and I don't want to wake her. Oh, you know one thing I realized after having a baby? It's a lot slower and harder to type with one hand. OH wow.. so Nicholas just came over and took her from me.. how sweet of him! :)

Some other milestones that Katelyn has reached now are:

walking... just kidding.

-laughing
-smiling
-holding her head up really well
-coo's and caa's quite a bit more
-and today.. so close to rolling!
-does well on her tummy
-sleeps 6-7 hours a night
-better at falling asleep on her own

She is wonderful. We love her. I'll hopefully post some 2 month pictures soon! But really.. she doesn't get a 2 month birthday cause there aren't 30 days in February :( So.... we'll count it once this month is over! :) Bye.
