considering the fact that I am an elementary ed teacher, but those boy scouts are crazy!
We had our first meeting with the cub scouts last night at the leader's home. By the end... no about 5 minutes into it, the boys were jumping over couches, wrestling each other, etc.
I was holding on to Katelyn for dear life. Haha. No just kidding... ok, yeah.. I'm not going to lie, it was a mad house, I was scared someone was going to trample over her so i held her most of the time.
Not to mention, she was fussing at first and one boy jumps up out of his seat runs over to her and starts touching her face, grabbing her hands, and has his face about an inch away from hers. I don't know how other moms feel about this, but she still is small. She can get sick. The kids were outside right before and definitely didn't wash their hands. And now they're being rubbed all over my baby. How do you other moms feel about this? I was a bit overwhelmed after...
but I am a teacher and thank goodness I know how to set rules and establish the consequences, trust me I've dealt with kids like this before now. Nicholas will surely help me keep them under control and save our little Katelyn. :)
p.s. she gets shots tomorrow and I am not looking forward to it. Luckily Nick is kind enough to come with me so he can help. What would I do with out him? LOVE You Nicholas!

Where'd you get that picture? I didn't send you one. Sorry!
That would give me a panic attack to have those boys rush my baby. However, I am sure you have control of the situation, and the boys had good intentions.
I always hated it to death!! The worst is when strange people in the middle of a grocery store come up and touch your baby!! I always wiped him down with wet wipes as soon as they walked away:) You just never know what may be one peoples hands.
You could tell the boys that the rule is that they have to use hand sanitizer before they touch her, and that they should only touch her feet and tummy, or something like that. Then provide the hand sanitizer for them! It's so hard, but I found (with our young women, who also kind of rushed Leila) that if I just nicely explained that babies get sick really easily and that's why I have the rule, they understood and were fine with it. Good luck - that's the worst but you do have to protect her and you shouldn't feel bad about it.
