2009 Recap

Well I was going to do this awhile ago.. somewhere closer to the beginning of the new year, however if you would only understand, my beautiful baby occupies quite a bit of my time or I get distracted while in the process of doing things.

She is sleeping now though and I might have a few minutes to reminisce this past year of 2009.

It sure was a wonderful year full of many adventures. I was reminded of this post because today Nicholas reminded me to call my old work place to see about my w-2 tax forms. I couldn't believe it had been so long since I last worked there- almost a year.

Well starting out the year:

-Nicholas and I started our last semester of classes at BYU

-I quite my job at Abella Bridal

-In April we both graduated from BYU

-Nicholas turned 24

-We found out we were expecting in April

-We decided that Nicholas would attend school in Oklahoma.

-I started my student teaching

-We bought our 1st home in Oklahoma

-Nicholas moved to Oklahoma in June while I stayed July & August to finish student teaching

-In August I finished my student teaching

-I turned 20 in August

-Nick finished his first semester of dental school

-September we found out we were having a sweet baby girl

-We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary in September

-I started substitute teaching in Oklahoma (also received my official state of Utah teaching license)

-November we took a road trip to Colorado for Thanksgiving

-We had our first Christmas together just as a couple

And the absolute best thing of the year was the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Katelyn Marie Jensen.

this past year sure was full of changes! I can't wait to see what this year brings us. :)
