Halloween!

Halloween was quite fun this year. We had a ton of activities going on and it was a busy and fun weekend. I liked dressing up as a kid and going out trick or treating, but I think it excites me even more that we get to dress up our own kid (and myself :) ) and share all the fun with her!

Katelyn was Minnie Mouse for Halloween. She loves Minnie. I attempted to make her a costume, which turned out, but I was also sent one from my awesome cousin. So she had two to wear (which was a good thing because right before we went out to one of the activities she got one costume dirty and we had to change it).

We did a few different things:
Friday night- Storybook forest
Saturday night- Ward Halloween party
Monday night- Neighborhood block party & trick or treating

My sister of course was (is) in town so that was even better!
Here are some pictures from all the events!

Getting ready to go out
Her trick or treat bucket
CHEESE!
With lil lady bug cousin Ellie!

Katelyn has this little thing where she likes to squeeze cheeks... :)

Here's the costume I made her

Getting her all ready and bundled up, luckily it wasn't too cold

Storybook forest, this year she could go up all by herself and get the candy, such a big girl

Playing a bean bag toss game
Ward Halloween party
Let's dance!
Dancing with daddy
Katelyn didn't want to stop. As soon as we sat down and let her go she ran right back up in the crowd and started dancing away. It was so cute.
She would copy everyone.. and she'd clap when the crowd would clap, she'd slide to the left (after everyone) when the song said "slide to the left" she is quite the little party gal.

Dancing with Mickey Mouse!
Our trunk or treat. Nick did a Christmas theme :) haha, with a little tree and lights and snow. He was a ski bum, I thought it all worked out great.

Going on a hayride at our neighborhood block party

That's all for Halloween. I love this time of year and can't wait for all the other events like.. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Katelyn's birthday, New Years, and then.. another baby! BUSY busy.
