This time it was Nick's parents.. known as "Nana" & "Papa" to Katelyn.
The whole week before they got here I kept telling Katelyn they were coming and every day she would ask if they were here. I told them they were coming on an airplane so whenever she heard an airplane she would jump and say "Nana! Papa! Airplane?" Then finally the day arrived when she got to see them! She was very very happy. And very very sad to see them leave. After they left (just this morning) she heard an airplane and again asked "Nana? Papa?" and this time I told her they were going home. She was pretty emotional for awhile.. like bawling when they walked out the door, but after a few minutes she calmed down. It may have been because Nick left with them and she might have thought he was leaving her for good too!
We had a lot of fun with them and are so so glad they could come out and visit. It really means a lot to us.
Here are a few things we did:
Went to the Cowboy Museum. We had never been, but had heard about it so decided to try it out. It was very very cool! And they had free admission the day we went, so even better ;)

We went to the park a couple of times! Anything for the little babe :)
We went to a place called POPS. I've wanted to go since we got here to Oklahoma and we've planned it, but actually never went through with it! So I was glad we went. It's pretty neat and they have a TON of soda. Just hundreds of different kinds of soda bottles all displayed.
We found out it was built pretty recently too, in 2007. The building was pretty cool.

We all chose our very own :) I got a cherries n cream. Nick got a green apple soda. Steve got a cream soda, and Lilian a root beer. I liked mine and I think everyone else liked theirs too!
We also took a trip down to Nicks school and got to see all of the fancy and pretty intense things he does! I'm so impressed with Nicholas (of course right ;D..) and I know his parents were too.
We had a short and sweet time with them and again were so glad they took the time to come!!
Can't wait to see them in December! I will be about 37 weeks when we go out there, but my brother
Nathan just got engaged!!
over the weekend so I am not missing the wedding!! :) I'm so happy for him and his beautiful fiancee.

Fun stuff! I want to go to those places when we come :) Looks like Katelyn had lots of fun with her grandparents!
congrats nate!!! hopefully you don't go into labor when you go for his wedding, haha. but if you do, you could always go to the dr you had with katelyn! you look so cute dana! and katelyn sounds like fun!
