Weekend Adventures...

This weekend was pretty awesome. Nick stayed home the whole day on Saturday and we did a lot. He usually goes to school Saturday morning until early afternoon.
On Friday we had a little get together/birthday party with some friends and Katelyn's little friend who turned 2!

On Saturday we weren't planning on being out all day, but we had to make two trips to walmart for something silly.
We had to exchange a game at walmart because the cd didn't work. Well I grabbed it from home, looked in it, and saw a cd so we left. Nick looked in it. The guy at the register looked in it. And when we had exchanged everything come back home and Nick went to put it in to see if it worked... he found the cd to the game we had just returned! Turns out we had another game in the case that wasn't the same game. SO we had to go all the way back to walmart which was quite a drive because we drove up to go to babies r us. I went in and they had to go to the back and search through to find our case and our game that wasn't the same game, and we gave them the actual game. I'm just glad they found it (and Nick caught it in time) that we didn't have two of the same game sitting at home and lose a game.

Anyways, that took quite awhile of our Saturday. While we were up there we went to babies r us. We finally found a convertible car seat for Katelyn! She was in need of a new car seat. Her feet hung over the edge of her infant one. She may not be 20 pounds yet, but she had definitely met the height limit. We can't wait to put her in it, I think she'll enjoy the car rides much more!

We had to return some things at bed bath and beyond. We returned it and when we were browsing the store we saw this cool tent and I had to get it for Katelyn, it was only 20 bucks and she loves it.

After that we were leaving the parking lot and we saw this huge truck with a bunch of pens around it. I looked on the side of the truck and it said "endangered show". I saw puppies at first and knowing that Katelyn loves puppies I told Nick we should stop since she had been so good. They had tigers and these raccoons and dogs and another animal I'm not sure what it's called. It was so cool! Right there in the middle of a parking lot. Katelyn loved it and cried when we left.

They were letting people in to see the animals and get pictures with them. It was so cool.

Then we went to Kohl's because I got this 10$ certificate thing in the mail. I think Kohl's may just be my new favorite clothing store to shop at. I love their clothes and they always have great deals.

At the end of the day we went to a place called Lotsa Noodles. We bought a groupon for it so decided to use it. It was pretty good.

I really loved having Nick home the whole day and doing things with him. I can't wait until he can be home every Saturday with us.
