One Month to One Year
Birthday Party
Well, she's finally one year old. We had a wonderful party for her in Utah on the 28th. I had my little cousins come and they played games, we ate cake, opened a few presents, and by that time Katelyn was exhausted. I really liked celebrating her birthday with my family.
Katelyn has grown so much in one year. She is very smart and understands a lot of things. She likes to run, babble, and laugh. We couldn't be happier. She makes life full of fun.
I did the monkey cake in Utah. When we were in Colorado, it was her actual birthday (The 30th of December). I made the same cake and frosted it, but then Nick wanted to decorate this one, so I let him have at it! He did an awesome job. I was impressed and almost convinced we should just drop dental school and open a cake shop ;) That would be fun, I love watching shows like cake boss and want to work in a place like that.

I love how you have that collage now of her changes through out her first year! I'm going to copy you :) and the picture of Nick holding her is funny! Haha. AND he did a great job on the cake. Looks awesome.

The monkey cake is sooo cute! I cannot believe she is one! What a big girl! She is adorable and so is your little family! I miss u..I wished u still lived in Provo! Katy and I were talking the other day how we came over to your house and played loaded questions. It was so fun!
