Christmas

I'm slow. I don't have a computer. And I for some reason haven't had a big desire to blog lately. I will catch up though.

This will be quick.

Christmas was wonderful. I really enjoyed going back home to Utah to spend time with my family. Then afterward also going to Colorado and spending time with Nick's family.

In Utah we....

-went ice skating (LOVE it.)
-did A LOT of shopping :)
-went bowling... I might say I have improved with in the last year or so.
-Had a 1 year birthday party for my baby doll Katelyn
-Cut a cake to find out if my sister is having a boy or girl (she is having a girl :) according to the cake that is.. )
-Celebrated Christmas
-Went to Christmas Eve dinner at Red Lobster (this is my favorite restaurant)
-Had a lot of coughs and runny noses
-Made an attempt to go to the BYU basketball game (first one in a long time), but my poor little brother got sick with the stomach flu and on the way to the game in the car he... well.. you  know the rest.
-Saw Santa Clause with Katelyn and had her sit on his lap and get a candy cane (my dad dressed up as santa, hopefully i can get the pics up. he looked awesome!)

In Colorado we...

-Saw TRON. Pretty good.
-Saw TANGLED. VERY GOOD.
-Had Christmas
-Celebrated Katelyn's actual birthday
-Katelyn got her SECOND tooth :D 
-Went bowling, got my highest score ever. 111.. I think?
-Celebrated the New Year by staying up, watching the NY tv thing, and playing Monopoly deal ;)
-Got sick the day we had to leave to go home.

I had the worst plan ride home ever. I have never felt worse. I was going in and out of the bathroom multiple times thinking I would throw up. My ears at the end felt like they were going to explode, they were plugged and hurt so bad. I came home with the chills, a fever, my body aching, and completely miserable. My wonderful husband immediately went to the store that night around 10 pm and got me medicine, nice hot soup, and gatorades :)

Then the next day we had church, then Monday school started for Nick. I was sick, congested for about a week. Then right as I started feeling really good and myself again, the next Tuesday I got sick with the stomach bug. Threw up that morning and went to get Katelyn and guess what... she had the same thing! :) It eventually passed on to Nick and then after a couple days passed back to Katelyn again. Luckily I think it's ALL GONE now. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Other than the last bit, our Christmas break was AWESOME! That is why I love the holidays. Being with family, having fun, remembering our Savior, and being jolly all the time.
