Peeking out to see what was going on
Opening the door to see her basket...
Picking it up
Hmm.. what's this? Pulling everything out of her basket
Reading the card. Thanks Gramma & Bumpa!!
Next on Saturday there was an Easter egg hunt in our neighborhood.
Katelyn was so cute trying to gather eggs before all the big kids got to them.

Sunday was a nice day. We went to church then came home and the kids were napping while Nick and I served up our crock pot dinner. Katelyn woke up and we let her open up her Easter basket. She LOVED it. She got some bubbles, new markers for her crayola wonder paper, some sidewalk chalk, a stuffed bunny, and a sticker and coloring pad.
Here are the kiddos on Easter.
Katelyn was so sad in the picture because we took her chalk away so she could focus on the camera...we ended up having to give it back to her obviously to stop the tears pouring down her face. Jacob was just a content lil guy. :)

After that I had some other things planned for the day, but we ended up giving Jacob a much needed hair cut (the next post to come) and then we put the kids to bed. We are planning on dying some eggs and doing "resurrection rolls" sometime this week. Overall it was a wonderful Easter & I'm glad I could spend it with my family and teach a little to Katelyn of our Savior and the resurrection. I hope you all had a great Easter Sunday!

I still think its weird they had big kids and little kids doing the hunt together. Doesn't seem very fair. At least she got a few eggs and had fun! Glad you guys had a nice day :)
