Utah Trip Summer 2010

I'm making two posts because I'm afraid if I attempt to write one post about both our trips to Colorado/Florida and Utah it might just end up extremely long, huge, boring, and unorganized. :)

So, here goes the first one. All about our trip to Utah. I'll start out telling you what happened from the day we left Oklahoma.

We decided we wanted to drive to Colorado and then to Utah; that way we could have more things for Katelyn (and myself I suppose) because we'd be gone for so long. We drove to Colorado and we planned on Nick staying there to work for his dad for a week and Katelyn and I flew out to Utah to help my sister with last minute wedding plans... or that could have just been an excuse for me to be in Utah longer. :)

After a few days Nick drove to Utah and met up with us.

We went swimming and played a lot of Wii with my little brother. Then we all (Me, Nick, Katelyn, my parents, older brother, and little brother) drove to BEAR LAKE! :) I haven't been to that place in forever, it was so fun to go back. And after a few days my other brother and sister were able to drive up and join us. It was a lot of fun!



Now is where the picture overload will begin. We did so many fun things the pictures will tell it all.

The cave was FREEZING! We had to wrap Katelyn in a towel.

I don't have good balance so I held up the line a bit walking down the wet, dark, slippery stairs.. kind of scary if you ask me

There was no food or drink allowed in the caves, but Katelyn needed to eat so we had to hide her bottle

This was probably my favorite part.. bike riding! OK, well minus the jet skiing. :)

I just thought this pic was funny. Isaac all relaxed in the middle with the boys on the outside pedaling hard. haha. It took quite a bit to get that bike going with 3 people on it!

So about half way through our bike ride there was a HORRIBLE storm. It almost blew the 3 man bike over and there was wind and rain and dust blowing every where. We didn't think we'd make it, but obviously we did :) It was actually really fun riding back to the shop trying to out run the storm. Here are the boys after the storm haha.

This is definitely the funniest picture of the trip. AJ trying to pull nate up on the jet ski. What would have been funnier is the one of nate falling sideways off the jet ski.

Ok, so that's quite a few pictures from the bear lake trip, but there's much more! Including, fourth of July weekend, my sister's WEDDING! and then there's a whole separate post about our trip to Colorado and Disney World.. whew, this might take me awhile :)

Ok so real quick. On July 7th 2010 my older sister and only sister got married! It was a beautiful day and I'm glad we could be there.

FOURTH OF JULY

During the fourth we had a nice little barbeque, did a little swimming, had some fireworks, watched fireworks, ate ice cream, went to the parade, and hung out with my favorite cousin. :)
