Our Smiley Little girl

Katelyn is just the happiest little girl, and we love it!


She is growing up so fast and doing so much on her own now.

She can:

-Now reach the monkeys hanging on the mobile in her pack n play AND pull them off. I woke up from my nap earlier to the sound of her pulling one off. (They velcro on and hang down)

-She can pick up and pull the toys to her face (more her mouth) when I set them on her lap or tummy.
-She can sit upright without falling back when we sit her in her boppy.

-She grabs my hair ALL the time. It hurts and I'm losing a lot. I'll find strands in her hands randomly. I thought maybe I should cut it, but there's no way I'm going to because I've been trying to grow it out for awhile now.

-She starting to not like to go in her carseat, but once her and mommy get to our destination she loves it. Like when I took her to hobby lobby and she was excited to see everything especially because she didn't have to stay in her carseat she got to sit in the carriers built into the carts. She was laughing through the aisles and a lady was laughing at how cute she was haha.

-She's taking less naps and wanting to stay awake much longer throughout the day. A lot of that time she wants me playing with her so that's something I'm trying to get used to as well as find time to do other things.

-She's getting too big for a lot of her newborn clothes :( I'll probably cry when I finally give in and pack them up and pull out more 3-6 month clothes. I just can't believe how tiny she used to be how we'd roll up the pants on her and now they are becoming floods on her. Oh well! At least we know she's growing :).....

-She weighs 11 lbs. 2 oz. :) I took her in to the doctor because she had a cough. The doctor said she looked alright and to just watch it to make sure it doesn't get worse. whew!

-She'll be 3 and a 1/2 months on Thursday the 15th... and speaking of that.. that's my brothers 23rd birthday! Wow. :)

-And last but not least.. she can say hi. No, um I don't think she's really saying it haha, but I swear it sounds like HI! She goes... in a really high pitched voice Hiiiiiaaa. It's so cute. And then now lately when I change her diaper and wipe her she's go AAAaaH, (most likely because it's so cold.. I don't know how those babies handle life!) it's so cute.

Alright well, I think we might go for a walk because the weather has been great. Hopefully my other pictures will be here on Tuesday and my sis can scan them over to us :) I can't wait to see them! Bye!
