So... I write an extremely long post!! :) a couple.. or a few weekends ago Nick and I went camping. First we tried going up squaw peak to find some camping grounds there, but... that was quite a disaster. We got there and there was only one spot left, the worst spot ever! The grass was overgrown, the table was so dirty with bird poop all over it. The spot for the tent wasn't shaded and the sun was beating down on it. Worst of all, we went to go pick up the ticket to pay and on the lid there were about 100 little caterpillar guys crawling all over it! I told Nick I hated bugs and especially when they were falling out of the trees on top of me. I tried to suck it up until we were in the car and Nick said, "Hold still there's a little caterpillar on your shoulder." I freaked out. I'm not going to lie. So we left and we went to look for a better spot. I'm glad we did, because the place we found after that was so nice and the perfect spot!
We finally got there and settled in around 7 or 7:30 p.m. We set up the tent and camping chairs then started on dinner. We had freeze dried Lasagna! Yummy :) It was actually very good. Better than my cooking at home. hahah. After that we ate some treats, sat by the fire and talked, then we brushed our teeth and got ready for bed.

Ok, the next morning we woke up and stretched for a little bit and decided to start making breakfast. Nick wouldn't let me cook anything so I just took the pictures. :) We had a DELICIOUS breakfast which consisted of: Eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and Juice (Tampico-my favorite!). The breakfast was so delicious!

Anyways, so after we stuffed ourselves with breakfast we were so full we felt like we couldn't even walk. We had planned to go on a hike though and if you know Nick and I... we don't give in and we do what we plan! I'm glad we went on it too, it was fun and it helped burn off some of those calories we had just gained.

After the hike we walked back down to the car. We said goodbye to our camping spot, and the managers of the campground (who had become our friends earlier) and we drove home.
So, as you hopefully can tell, we had a wonderful time! It was fun to finally be able to do things outdoors and be with Nick :) He loves camping. I do too, probably not as much as him, but I still do :)
