Almost done!

After tomorrow I will only have 1 week and 4 days of student teaching left!! I am so excited to be done. It has been a long summer. I can't wait to see Nick again and be able get settled in Oklahoma so I can start working on baby stuff! :)

Nick is also done with his summer class the same day I am!! So that is exciting. We will have a little family reunion in Colorado right after we both get finished and stay with his family for that week. We are excited, it will be really fun!!

Can't wait!

As I was talking to my little brother on the phone today about half way through our conversation I heard this noise...





My response on the phone: "Oh no, I think the tornado sirens just went off.."
His response: "Ok, go hide, and don't die"

Haha, it scared me sooo bad!! I have never been around this kind of thing and it will probably be my worst fear living out here in Oklahoma.. TORNADOES :)

I quickly called Nick and he told me not to worry-- it was just a drill! Thank goodness. I couldn't tell, you have to understand it's windy ALL the time here and it sounds loud from inside the house. Some girls told me last night, "Yeah, just don't do your hair... If the humidity won't ruin your hair, the wind will" Ha... great... :)

OKLAHOMA!

I'm finally here in... OKLAHOMA! It's my first time ever. I love our house, the area is really nice, and it's so nice to be here with Nick. Here are pictures of our home!

Safe arrival..

Well,I just wanted to let everyone know that Nick has arrived safely to Oklahoma. He got there with his dad last Wednesday and has moved into our new house. We had a lot of help from his dad and sister Hayley and her husband Alex when moving, so thanks to everyone who helped!

I'm glad that he is safe and that everything went well. I haven't got pictures of the house yet, but hopefully sometime soon we can post some. Nick starts dental school tomorrow. I wish I could be there to send him off to his first day of school- just like a little mom would do to her child :)- but I'm not, I can just wish him the best of luck, I know he'll do great.

As for me... I'm still here in Utah. I spent this last week at my parents house. My sister arrived home from El Salvador late, late Saturday night (I was in bed) so it's been nice to finally have someone home to be around and share this HUGE house with.

I am leaving on the 4th of July to go see Nick. You can imagine how excited I am :) Happy fourth of July to everyone, have a great weekend!

Big News…

We got a new car, and we're buying a house! Nick is leaving to Oklahoma this month to move into it!!!

Anyways, that's just news, the REAL big news is……………

We're having a baby!!

I am 11 weeks along and our little baby is due December 30^th 2009! Nick and I are very excited and we are glad to finally be able to share this good news with everyone. We went to the doctor's office last week. The baby's heartbeat sounded great, and he measured about 3.75 centimeters which put us a few days ahead of our original due date (December 30^th), but the doctor said to plan on December 30^th for now :) We will keep you updated on everything new.
